Play as Templar Assassin
- Line up Psi Blades through creeps only when the angle also keeps you safe from the enemy’s return trade.
- Place Psionic Traps to answer a concrete question about a route or objective, then use that information with your team.
- Before taking Roshan or a tower, push the nearby wave and check how quickly the enemy can arrive; speed is only useful with a safe exit.
Play against Templar Assassin
- Avoid standing directly behind a creep she is hitting. Change the line of the trade before Psi Blades reaches you.
- Use current damage and control options to wear down Refraction before the decisive exchange rather than assuming the first burst will land.
- Scout trap-covered routes and contest the waves that let her turn one pickoff into Roshan or a tower.
