Play as Skywrath Mage

  1. Pair Ancient Seal and damage with an ally’s reliable catch rather than opening on a target who can leave.
  2. Place Mystic Flare on a controlled target when teammates have agreed to keep the target in that area.
  3. Use the pickoff to establish a safer wave or objective, then reset your backline position before another spell cycle.
On the enemy team

Play against Skywrath Mage

  1. Keep distance from an isolated ally so one catch does not expose the whole team to the same burst response.
  2. Threaten Skywrath Mage from the side before he can stand still and complete a full spell sequence.
  3. Move the caught hero out of Mystic Flare’s area if possible, then pressure the caster while spells recover.
