On your team

Play as Nyx Assassin

Use Vendetta to scout a valuable route first, then take a catch only when allied damage can arrive promptly.
Aim Impale across the target’s likely retreat line so the stun also protects the path your team will use.
Hold Spiked Carapace for a predictable response, then leave if the first catch does not create an advantage.

On the enemy team

Play against Nyx Assassin

Keep detection and a second hero near exposed waves when Nyx Assassin is missing from the map.
Avoid lining up several heroes on one narrow retreat route where Impale can delay the whole response.
Watch for Spiked Carapace before using a large area spell, and force Nyx to commit before firing it.
