Ancient Apparition
Control a lane from range and make enemy healing plans unsafe during a fight.
First check
Which enemy relies on healing to survive, and who can hold them for Ice Blast?
Play as Ancient Apparition
- Trade from a position that lets your lane partner act on Cold Feet. A slow isolated cast is less useful than one tied to a real chase or retreat.
- Aim Ice Blast where allies are already creating contact. Tell them which target is affected before they commit the finishing damage.
- After a long-range contribution, move to a safer lane or vision position instead of assuming the fight no longer needs your presence.
Play against Ancient Apparition
- Locate Ancient Apparition before relying on a heal or regeneration to save the first focused hero.
- Break the setup that lets Ice Blast land on several teammates: change formation or pressure the hero holding you in place.
- If the debuff lands, survive and reposition under the current rules rather than spending resources on healing that will not help yet.
Make the lesson stick
For three Ice Blasts, record the setup, targets hit, enemy healing plan, and whether your team could finish the affected target.
