Earthshaker
Split fights with Fissure and punish enemies who commit too close together.
First check
Does the Fissure separate enemies from help, or block your own team?
Play as Earthshaker
- Place Fissure for terrain and movement first. A short stun with a useful wall can be stronger than a long stun that traps allies.
- Stay out of obvious vision while waiting for the enemy to commit. Your threat changes their spacing even before you cast.
- After Echo Slam, plan the next control spell and exit. A dramatic entry without follow-up may leave your team fighting four versus five.
Play against Earthshaker
- Spread out around waves, summons, and objectives so one entry cannot hit everyone at once.
- Ward or scout his likely approach before starting a clustered objective. Make him cross visible space to reach the fight.
- If Fissure cuts off the front line, move around the wall or disengage instead of arriving one by one.
Make the lesson stick
Pause before three Fissures and draw the path each team could actually take for the next five seconds.
