Undying
Make a clustered fight costly for enemies while allies use the space around Tombstone.
First check
Where can Tombstone be protected, and which enemy can safely attack it?
Play as Undying
- Use Decay during a real lane trade with your partner nearby, then preserve enough health to hold the wave.
- Place Tombstone where enemies must contest an objective and where allies can punish anyone who attacks it.
- Stay close enough to help the front line, but do not leave the back line exposed while chasing one retreating hero.
Play against Undying
- Decide quickly whether your team can destroy Tombstone safely or must leave its area together.
- Spread before a fight so Undying cannot hit every hero with the same repeated Decay trade.
- Pressure the wave and his supporting allies when he moves far forward to defend a planted Tombstone.
Make the lesson stick
For three Tombstones, note location, attackers, allied protection, and whether the fight gained an objective.
