Play as Treant Protector

  1. Apply Living Armor to a threatened objective or teammate early enough that the team can use the time gained.
  2. Move through tree cover toward a fight your allies can follow, rather than waiting alone for a perfect root.
  3. Use Overgrowth when the rooted heroes are in reach of allied damage or when it creates a clean escape.
On the enemy team

Play against Treant Protector

  1. Expect Treant to approach through trees near an objective and keep vision on the likely entry routes.
  2. Spread enough that Overgrowth cannot hold both the front line and every hero ready to help.
  3. Clear the wave and pressure another angle when Living Armor delays an immediate tower push.
