Stand ahead of the team and turn an enemy commitment into a Ravage with useful follow-up.

Which enemy heroes must be caught, and which allies can reach them during Ravage?
Play as Tidehunter
- Use your lane durability to protect a partner’s farm or pressure a wave without making the team defend an isolated hero.
- Wait for important enemies to commit into range, but cast Ravage for a decisive smaller catch if delaying loses the objective.
- After Ravage, help the team finish the wave and structure while the enemy response is still disrupted.
Play against Tidehunter
- Keep a damage dealer or save hero outside Tidehunter’s likely Ravage area near Roshan and tower approaches.
- Avoid spending every control spell on his front line when his team can begin the real fight after you are empty.
- Pressure the next objective after Ravage is used, before his lineup can rely on the same teamfight opening.
Make the lesson stick
For three Ravages, count valuable heroes hit, allies in range to follow, and the map action before the enemy recovered.
