Slark

Find short, favorable contacts that build into a longer fight without getting trapped on entry.

First check

Where will Pounce leave you if the target survives the first exchange?

On your team

Play as Slark

  1. Approach an isolated target from a path with vision or allied cover. Pounce is much safer when the enemy’s second hero is accounted for.
  2. Use Dark Pact deliberately against the control you expect, then decide whether to keep fighting or reset before the next disable arrives.
  3. When the enemy groups too tightly to hunt, push a safe wave and make them split before looking for another pickoff.
On the enemy team

Play against Slark

  1. Move with a partner near contested resources so his first Pounce cannot turn into a free one-versus-one.
  2. Layer control after Dark Pact when possible, and keep enough vision or area pressure to follow his retreat path.
  3. When Shadow Dance is committed, survive its duration and prepare the next response rather than spending every spell into the unavailable target.
One replay drill

Make the lesson stick

In three skirmishes, mark Slark’s entry path, Dark Pact timing, the second enemy who arrived, and the exit he used.
