Riki
Threaten isolated heroes from unseen routes and exit before the response becomes a full fight.
First check
Which target is alone, and where can allies cover the escape after your first strike?
Play as Riki
- Scout the route before committing from invisibility, and choose a target whose support is not nearby.
- Place Smoke Screen where the target must respond, then hold movement for the route they take out.
- After a pickoff, move a wave or vision with teammates instead of searching alone for another victim.
Play against Riki
- Carry detection and travel in pairs around exposed waves when Riki has disappeared from vision.
- Leave Smoke Screen before using the spells needed to save a caught ally or turn the fight.
- Protect the route behind the likely target so Riki cannot retreat freely after his first commitment.
