Pudge
Threaten hooks from fog and turn one displaced enemy into a numbers advantage.

Where does a successful Hook deliver the target, and can allies finish it?
Play as Pudge
- Approach through vision gaps and choose a hook lane before revealing. A predictable stationary hiding spot is easy to avoid.
- Use the threat of Hook to restrict enemy movement even if you do not cast it. Walk with the team so a caught target can be punished.
- After a pickoff, push the nearest wave and take a real map gain before the enemy respawns.
Play against Pudge
- Keep creeps or terrain between you and likely hook angles, especially when your wave is thin.
- Ward and check the path he needs to reach fog beside your lane or objective. Missing Pudge is a positioning problem for the whole team.
- When Hook misses, use the short opening to move the wave or contest vision without chasing blindly into his allies.
Make the lesson stick
For five missed or landed Hooks, mark the enemy’s vision of Pudge and the objective available after the attempt.
