Lina
Win space with long-range spells, then apply damage while enemies are held or forced to retreat.
First check
Who sets up Light Strike Array, and where can you stand after casting it?
Play as Lina
- Use the threat of Light Strike Array to shape an enemy’s movement rather than casting every time it becomes available.
- Coordinate a stun with allied control or a predictable path. Be ready to abandon a missed attempt instead of following it into bad terrain.
- After winning a trade, push the wave before rotating so the enemy must answer the lane or lose resources.
Play against Lina
- Move unpredictably when Lina walks forward to cast, then use the opening if Light Strike Array misses.
- Avoid standing in a straight retreat line with a low-health ally when her team has control to hold either of you.
- Pressure her position from an angle that makes long-range spell casts unsafe, while keeping track of her allies’ saves.
Make the lesson stick
Review the first five Light Strike Array casts: note the setup, target movement, Lina’s position afterward, and whether the wave changed.
