Play as Io

  1. Choose a Tether partner with a clear next action and follow at a distance that keeps your own escape route open.
  2. Call a Relocate destination and return plan before leaving, so the partner knows whether to fight or take an objective.
  3. Use Overcharge during the partner’s committed damage window rather than while both heroes are only approaching.
On the enemy team

Play against Io

  1. Track both Io and the tethered ally; pressuring only one can leave the other free to reset the engagement.
  2. Protect the target of a possible Relocate play with vision and a second responder before showing alone on a wave.
  3. When the pair arrives, move away from the landing area and regroup before deciding whether to fight them.
