Who can damage the target during Chronosphere, and where must they stand?

Play as Faceless Void

  1. Before a fight, point out the ally who can hit into Chronosphere. A catch with no reachable damage often wastes the team’s best window.
  2. Keep track of enemy saves and buybacks when choosing the target. Catch the hero who makes the next objective possible.
  3. When Chronosphere is unavailable, use that downtime to push a safe wave, farm toward your next item, and avoid a forced five-on-five.
On the enemy team

Play against Faceless Void

  1. Stand in different angles so a single Chronosphere cannot catch the damage dealer and every save hero.
  2. Scout his location before grouping around Roshan or a tower. Keep one response outside his likely catch area.
  3. After Chronosphere is used, reassess the objective window immediately; its absence can be more valuable than a low-health target.
