Drow Ranger

Keep enemies at the edge of your range so sustained attacks and slowing arrows decide the fight.

First check

Who can close the gap, and where can you stand after using Gust?

On your team

Play as Drow Ranger

  1. Use Frost Arrows to contest a last hit or control a retreating target, then step back before the enemy support can trade into you.
  2. Start fights from terrain that offers a second firing position. Gust can create space, but it cannot replace a planned escape route.
  3. Cast Multishot when you can channel from cover or after allies hold enemies in place; canceling a bad channel is better than giving up position.
On the enemy team

Play against Drow Ranger

  1. Threaten her from more than one angle so a single Gust cannot protect her entire retreat path.
  2. Use vision and lane pressure to make her show before the fight starts. A Drow forced to move is dealing less sustained damage.
  3. Close the distance with a coordinated initiator while the rest of the team prevents her allies from resetting the fight.
One replay drill

Make the lesson stick

Review each teamfight opening and mark Drow’s first firing position, the nearest gap closer, and the space left after Gust.
