Beastmaster

Use summons and information to control an approach, then start a fight on a valuable target.

First check

What does your vision reveal about the target and the enemies who could protect it?

On your team

Play as Beastmaster

  1. Send summons to learn who is defending a lane before committing your real hero. Preserve them when the information is worth more than damage.
  2. Call the intended Primal Roar target and the ally who will supply damage before walking into range of the enemy response.
  3. Move the wave and summons toward a tower after winning the first contact; do not let a clean initiation end as an empty chase.
On the enemy team

Play against Beastmaster

  1. Clear or avoid his scouting units when moving toward an objective so your team can choose its own entry angle.
  2. Keep the hero who can save the Roar target outside Beastmaster’s obvious initiation line.
  3. Pressure the lane he needs for a tower push, then decide whether to fight his group or trade the opposite side of the map.
One replay drill

Make the lesson stick

For three Primal Roars, mark the information Beastmaster had beforehand, the target reached, and the structure or space won.
