Axe

Create a threatening front line and turn grouped enemy attacks into a clean initiation.

First check

Can your team reach the target during Berserker’s Call, and who saves them afterward?

On your team

Play as Axe

  1. Use creep aggro and your position to make the enemy carry choose between last hits and taking damage. Do not spend health just to look aggressive.
  2. Before blinking, identify the follow-up damage and the enemy save. A call on a valuable target only matters when your team can act on it.
  3. After a won fight, use your health and position to stand ahead of the wave while teammates take the objective; reset before the enemy returns.
On the enemy team

Play against Axe

  1. Avoid lining up several heroes within his initiation range. Make him choose one target instead of catching the whole response.
  2. Watch his Blink timing and keep vision on likely entry routes. Poke before a fight when possible so Blink is harder to use.
  3. Save control or repositioning for the moment after his first jump, and check whether the called ally can actually be saved under current rules.
One replay drill

Make the lesson stick

Review three initiations: record who Axe caught, who supplied follow-up, and whether the fight produced a tower, Roshan, or safer map space.
