Abaddon
Absorb the first enemy commitment and keep an ally present long enough to turn the fight.

Who needs Aphotic Shield, and what will your team do while that hero remains in the fight?
Play as Abaddon
- Use your lane presence to protect a partner’s access to creeps. Trade health only when it buys a last hit, a better wave, or a safe reset.
- Watch for the disable or burst that makes Aphotic Shield most valuable, then stay close enough to cast without becoming the first pickoff.
- Treat Borrowed Time as space for a team action, not a reason to chase alone. Call the retreat or counterattack while enemies are committed.
Play against Abaddon
- Identify Abaddon before committing control to one ally. Force his save early or attack a target he cannot reach.
- When Borrowed Time changes the damage trade, stop feeding the exchange and move toward a more vulnerable hero or objective.
- Keep wave pressure on both sides of the map so his defensive presence cannot answer every threatened structure.
